Tips for ordering stationery

Whilst planning a wedding it can all seem a bit overwhelming so I've compiled some handy tips to make ordering your stationery straight forward and stress-free...

1. Double check the numbers you need, you don't need one for every guest but one per family or couple! Children who have left home normally get a separate invite.
2. Put a date on the invite for people to reply by, I would recommend 3-4 weeks after you plan to send them out. Reply cards can also include other information you require like dietary requirements or whether transport is required.
3. Check, double check and triple check the proof!!! It can be surprising easy to miss something...
4. Don't leave it to the last minute... Invites are normally posted out 2-3 months before the wedding and the delivery time ONCE the proof is approved is 3-6 weeks depending on the order.
5. Check the postage at the post office before posting. Thicker invites may require large letter stamps.
